Hatha Yoga Classes
Hatha Yoga is not a separate form of yoga. It is the physical branch of Raja Yoga (raja means "royal"), the ancient , systematic, and scientific, method of reaching super-consciousness or Self-Realization. See are General Guidelines or FAQ or call.  

Our classes our located in Beaverton Oregon, just minutes away from Portland and Tigard.  Parking is available at our studio, drop-ins always welcome.  Our prices are the best in the Portland Metro Area. 

An Evening of Restorative Yoga
Friday, May 2nd, 6-8pm  $40
With visualization, music, and guided meditation you will experience a deep sequence of postures designed to release tension and bring you to a deep state of relaxation.

Yoga For Runners

 Co-director of Ananda Yoga in Portland, is hosting this 3-week series on Yoga for Runners. An accomplished yogi and devoted runner, this class will help you draw the most benefit from these 2 great activites.

 Healing the Body through Yoga Principles
Fridays, June 6,13,20  7-9pm Cost $40
How to improve your health by using Yoga Techniques.  This class will explore yoga asanas, pranayamas, relaxation techniques, and yoga philosophy that help to keep the body healthy

Yoga for Back Problems
Fridays, July 9,16, 23, 30  7-9pm Cost $50
Back pain is the number one chronic probem that people will deal with in their lives. Learn how to prevent and help to heal back problems.

Our intermediate students develop a deeper understanding of asanas as a path to inner awakening by going more deeply into the practice of pranayama, energy flows, affirmations, and exploring adaptations for the more difficult poses. "

Learn and experience how to get pain relief and increase flexibility in weak or injured joints. Safely strengthen and stabilize problem areas and reduce the risk of back pain and posture problems.

Kriyananda started Ananda Village in 1968 to fulfill Yogananda's dream of spiritual communities. Ananda Village is a constantly growing community of 250 members living on about 800 acres of land. It includes homes, businesses, and a school for children.

Ananda Portland Website
Every month we are delighted to host a number of classes and other events at our center in Beaverton.  Classes include the exploration meditation,  yoga philosophy  and applied spirituality—the "Art of Living"—with subjects like success, relationships, health & healing, and music.
